Simon Merrony Architects was established in 1995 and now occupies a busy High Street location.
Simon Merrony, the senior Architect, has been qualified for over 25 years and has worked as senior Architect for several large London practices before setting up his own practice, concentrating predominantly on residential design in the UK and commercial interior design in Moscow. Simon has built up a team of architects, technicians and project managers, all of whom work closely with him on his projects.
Simon has been awarded the conservation and design award for Richmond Borough and has designed the first integrated roof-light and solar panel scheme in the UK. Almost all of Simon’s work comes from past client referral or from other professionals who have worked closely with him over the years.
Why choose an Architect?
By choosing an Architect you can be assured of bespoke design and a service which is tailored to your needs and requirements. Every project is different and after the initial consultation we will undertake a full survey in order to put forward design proposals which we will present to you using our 3D cad system. This allows us to ‘walk you through’ the new space so you can get a real feel of how your project will look once completed.
Once planning has been achieved your project will be tendered to a minimum of four builders. Once the tenders are returned these will be reviewed and you can decide which contractor you want to choose for your project. This process will enable you to ensure that your requirements fit your budget. In our experience this is better value for money than going to a one stop loft company who do not tender their work and often quote bare minimum prices and add on the extras at the end.
During the course of the project a JCT contract will be administered by us to ensure that objectivity is maintained throughout and the contractor is bound by the terms and budget agreed between you from the outset.
